Help, support, advice, information and refuge to Women and their Children who are experiencing Domestic Violence.
A 24-hour help-line and legal advice is open to all women (Thursday mornings), Counselling (by appointment). Women's Aid offers safety planning, assertiveness training and runs support groups. Access to language line for telephone interpreting and some information is offered in languages other than English. Close liaison with specialist refuges offering services to Chinese Women, Asian Women, Jewish Women, Afro-Caribbean women & Irish women. Floating support for survivors. 24-hour admission to refuge accommodation.

This project offers 1:1 counselling, a self-help group for isolated, older women and self-esteem courses. Health advice and lifestyle management is offered as well as Palliative Massage.
The centre liaises with the Community Mental Health Team, the Psychiatric Ward at Princess Alexandra Hospital Harlow, GP Practices, the NHS Walk-in Centre, Social Services and others.
