Suicide is a complex issue. There could be one or several reasons which may cause someone to take their own life.

A person who is feeling suicidal may experience the following...
They may be under pressure and feel they cannot cope
They may think no one understands what they are going through
They may think no one would miss them when they are gone
They may feel that no one can help them
They may be feeling intense pain
If you are feeling, or know someone who is feeling suicidal, what can you do to help?
Take it seriously. It is a myth to think that those who talk about suicide won't do it.
Focus on the solution not the problem.
There are trained people who can listen and offer advice and support.
