AIM  OBJECTIVES

 

To promote the preservation and the safeguarding of mental health,

assist in relieving and rehabilitating persons and the prevention

and relief of problems arising from mental disorder among adults,

elderly, young people & children in the local government districts of

Epping Forest, Harlow & Uttlesford and surrounding areas

 

 

In particular by;

Relief of poverty, distress and sickness

& Advancement of education

 

Advancement of the management & practice of mental health care

Providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for recreation and

other leisure time occupations of the said beneficiaries

so that their condition of life may be improved

 

Providing access to the following complementary therapies:

 

Acupuncture, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy,

Yoga, Reflexology, Massage, Shiatsu, Meditation, Aromatherapy,

Counselling, Spiritual Healing, Indian Head Massage, Reiki,

Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Nutrition Therapy,

Tai Chi and such other therapies for which the prior written consent of

the Charity Commission for England and Wales has been obtained

 

Mental health promotion

 

Advocacy & Support

 

Support with Rehabilitation back into the community & workplace

To co-ordinate and actively develop effective and user-involved services

for people experiencing mental health problems and their carers

in the Epping Forest District & surrounding areas.
