Spanners Drop In Celebrates 10 years
Spanners celebrates ten wonderful years in 2008. During this time around 400 local people have attended the drop in. So established is the service, that it predates the AIM charity which now runs it.
A special 10th Anniversary disco has been arranged for Friday 25th July. This will be held at St John’s Parish Hall, Church Lane, Loughton from 7pm until 10:30pm. Refreshments and a raffle will be available. Admission is FREE. Contact AIM if you want more information.
Kate Jumps to it for AIM
Spanners member Kate Wilson proved that
she and horse, Jack Daniels, had a real
spring in their step when they completed a
fundraising show jump against the clock at
the Woodreddon Equestrian Centre, near
Epping.
Funds raised go towards Spanners drop in
services. Thanks to all those who attended to cheer Kate on and to those who sponsored her.
